Ala'a is currently a senior majoring in Energy Science with a minor in Mathematics from Bellevue, NE. She plans to attend graduate school for sustainable design following her undergraduate graduation in May 2016.

Karen is currently a senior Energy Technology and Applied Physical Analysis Major from Chatfield, MN. She plans to become an energy consultant after graduating in December 2016.

BRIANNA BACA

 

Brianna Baca was the first to graduate from Creighton University with a minor in the Energy Technology Program. She has worked as an Assistant Project Developer at Bluestem Energy Solutions, LLC in Omaha, Nebraska. She is now working in Kansas City with a Renewable Energy Development company, Tradewind Energy.

RENA BECKER

 

Rena Becker was a Career and Mentoring Counselor at Creighton University. Rena was also the Director of Recruitment at University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the College of Engineering. She has aided many students in completing both their educational and career goals. She is very helpful in student development in interviews, cover letter writing, resume writing, and more in order for students to obtain their end goal.

KATIE BRUCKMAN

 

Katie Bruckman was involved in the Energy Technology Program for two years at Creighton University as the Assistant Director of the Program. She is now a Research and Costing Analysist with National Indemnity Company in Omaha, Nebraska.

ERIN CHEESE

 

Erin Cheese joined the SunShot team at the Solar Energy Technologies Office, US Dept of Energy, in August 2015 as a Junior Fellow. She works on a variety of projects including the STEP solar workforce training initiative and National Community Solar Partnership, as well as a project to understand the impact of government research funding on the acceleration of the solar industry. Prior to joining SunShot, Erin served on the Nebraskans for Solar board of directors. She received her B.S. in Energy Science and Applied Physical Analysis from Creighton University.

BARBARA DILLY

 

Dr. Dilly is an associate professor at Creighton University in Cultural Anthropology. She teaches several of the anthropology centered courses withing the Energy Technology program that focus on energy, environment, and the people involved. She is very much involved in sustainability at Creighton Univeristy in Omaha, Nebraska.

TESS EDMONDS

 

Tess Edmonds worked as the Associate Director and as an instructor in the Creighton Univeristy Energy Technology Program for two years. She aided in launching the program. She is now a Design Facilitator and Consultant with Independent Consulting in San Francisco, California.
