OUR PROGRAM - ENERGY TECHNOLOGY

"...a meaningful application for my interests."

Jordan, Energy Technology Student '12

The Energy Technology Program at Creighton University aims to teach its students primarily in energy, but also facilitates an overall scope of solving real world problems through design, anthropology, philosophy, environment, theology, politics, and engineering courses. The program concentrates on allowing student creativity to develop “innovative, holistic solutions to energy problems.” A non-traditional course base involves a variety of group projects - some partnering with organizations and companies in the Omaha, and even worldwide, community - giving students hands-on experience that prepares them for their careers in the future. Creighton’s Energy Technology Program builds on the ideals of the founder of the Jesuit order, St Ignatius “to develop individuals with the intellect, practical background and the passion required to be tomorrow's inspirational leaders.”
